His boxing looks sharp. Nakamura is still searching for his range. Nakamura moves in with the punches but eats a hard right hand counter! Aliev is outboxing Nakamura. Nakamura has a hard time closing the distance early in the fight. He starts working with the kicks. Halfway in, Aliev quickly fires a big right hand and lands! He follows with the level change but Nakamura defends against the fence. Nakamura judo throws Aliev down but Aliev scrambles back to his feet and continues with the clinch against the fence. Both fighters are feeling each other. Aliev is setting up his timing on the left hand. Nice kick to the body lands for Alves. Aliev responds with the right hand. Alves slips the punch and counters with a big right hook! Alves is looking sharp early. Aliev sticks with the jab. 1st min in, big kick to the boy lands for Alves! He presses forward as Aliev initiates the clinch against the cage. He is aware of the danger on the feet and starts working for a takedown. Alves is trying to separate. Aliev fires an overhand right but he is out of the range. Velickovic lands a kick to the body. Aliev has a hard time closing the distance. Velickovic is exploding with the kicks from the southpaw stance. Aliev is too patient. He hasn’t landed anything in this fight so far. Halfway in, Velickovic is controlling the fight on the feet. Big kick to the body lands for Velickovic! He continues to destroy the lead leg of Aliev. Aliev charges forward and grabs the single leg.
