He is still working for a position. 1st min in, Santos is in the half guard position. He starts exploding with the elbows. Millender controls the posture. He has a hard time finding his way up. Analysis
Rd 1 – Both fighters are in the orthodox stance. Santos is moving left and right. Vendramini takes the outside position. Santos fires a leg kick. Vendramini dives for a single leg and scores a takedown early. Santos sets up the neck tie! Vendramini tries to defend! 1st min in, the pressure is strong! Vendramini is trying to put the leg out of his neck. Vendramini escapes and explodes back to his feet. Vendramini takes the back of Santos. He jumps on his back and starts riding. Santos is in the terrible spot! Vendramini is looking for a rear-naked choke! It looks tight! Santos escapes and shows great submission defense. Halfway in, Vendramini is still on his back! He is showing great control. Santos separates and just misses with the spinning elbow on the break. Santos starts putting pressure on Vendramini. Rd 1 – Good pressures, body kick is caught by Dos Santos and he forces Good to the mat, Good does well to scramble back to his feet but Dos Santos has the back as they clinch against the cage. Dos Santos now in outside position. 1 min in and they break. Good still slowly pressuring. Dos Santos offering a lot of feints. Good looking to establish jab. Hard leg kick drops Good momentarily. Hard leg kick lands again for Dos Santos. Good looking composed as he slowly pressures behind his jab. Halfway. Dos Santos firing power but not finding its target clean. Dos Santos leg kick is partially caught as Good lands a right cross and gets Dos Santos to the mat. Dos Santos in full guard. 2 mins to go. Dos Santos scrambling back to his feet, Good lands a solid knee to the head as they break. Good ducks Dos Santos advances and lands a solid body punch. Dos Santos circling, Good pressures him to the cage. As they break Dos Santos lands a strong uppercut. Good back to working behind his jab. Good almost catches the leg kick again. Under 1 min.
