Morales pressing, Souk flying knee misses, Morales able to time a counter punch. Souk displaying decent feints as he awaits Morales to come in the pocket before countering. 10 – 9 Soukhamthath.

Rd 2 – Morales comes forward lands a couple punches. Morales working his jab. They exchange jabs. 1 2 misses but leg kick lands for Souk. Morales ducks the left hook and moves in for a double. Soukhamthath appears more patient for the takedown and lighter on his feet. Soukhamthath only seems to throw the jab. Kin Moy also looking better, closes distance. Overhand right from Soukhamthath SKIMS Moy’s head. Kin Moy comes forward landing a crisp 1 2 to the stomach and then high with a lead left. Soukhamthath covering up well, but either remaining in the pocket or not moving. Head kick from Moy blocked. Moy mixing up his strikes, clearly displaying the more diverse striking. Moy continues to be the aggressor. A combo sees the fight against the cage, and Soukhamthath IS DOWN, looks a slip though. Moy enters the guard, and immediately passes to side. Soukhamthath able to escape. Moy continues to press forward, big overhand right stumbles Moy, but he comes right back. Soukhamthath connects with a counter left hook. Moy eats it and continues to march forward. . Surprisingly no takedown attempts from Soukhamthath.

Moy closes distance, but walks straight into a knee that cleans him out, a couple hammer fists and the ref steps in.

RESULT – WON VIA 5TH RD TKO FLYING KNEE

Analysis
Rd 1 – Norby fights with extremely low hands and no care for his chin, swings a couple rights, then looks immediately for a single leg, and gets it. Soukhamthath does great to scramble up. 3mins in and Norby still has the same single leg, Soukhamthath continues to throw strikes to Norby head. 30 secs left he finally loses control of the leg and Soukhamthath drops elbows, knees and all sorts.
Rd 2 – Norby target the leg. Again, he shoots for a single, and Soukhamthath stops it. They’re back up. Norby throwing wild single strikes, then shooting for a single leg. Soukhamthath not doing any damage when they stand only when Norby refuses to let go of the single leg. Soukhamthath sprawls and gets half guard. Leg lock attempt, lasts a minute, and that’s the round.
Rd 3 – Spinning back elbow connects for Norby, and stumbles Soukhamthath. Soukhamthath lands a body kick. Norby single leg attempt. Soukhamthath sprawls and stops its. Soukhamthath in guard doing some damage. They’re back up. Norby is there for the taking, hes so gassed he can barely stand. Norby so tired now he can’t go for takedowns, so is attempting Joe Lauzon standing leg lock attempts. Awful. Soukhamthath in half guard… chilling.
Rd 4 – Norby with a single leg to start the round, Sat against the cage, Soukhamthath continues to land elbows. Norby face is busted. Norby gets underhooks but still cant control Soukhamthath. Norby gets the takedown and into mount. He takes the back of Soukhamthath, this is so sloppy. He cant get the choke in.
Rd 5 – Immediate shot from Norby. Soukhamthath stops and reverses into side. He loses a crucifix, and now in half guard. Norby goes for a leg lock. Soukhamthath decides to spin out, they stand. Norby pumps his jab, his stance and posture have crumbled to his fatigued. SPEAKING OF CRUMBLING THAT’S JUST WHAT NORBY HAS DONE, AS SOUKHAMTHATH LANDS A FLYING KNEE, AND NORBY IS OUT COLD. There was no disguise on that knee, and a good fighter would of seen it coming.

RESULT – LOST VIA UN DEC

Analysis
Rd 1 – Leg kick, Hands up, Upright stance.Another leg kick, gets Kin Moy down and into guard. Nice knee in the clinch, another timed leg kick gets Kin Moy down. Soukhamthath gets a takedown, and now into half guard. They stand, Soukhamthath takedown stopped. Kin Moy now looking for the takedown, stopped. Finally they’re back to the middle. AS not displaying any stand up skill. He again gets double unders and takes Kin Moy to the mat. Kin Moy back up and AS drags him back down. Soukhamthath not offering any offence on the ground. They stand Kin Moy lands another body kick. Soukhamthath continues to pepper with punches, nothing impressive, no lateral movement or angles. Commentators haven’t picked up on it but I think an overhand left from Kin Moy has rocked and dropped Soukhamthath, as he stumbles to the ground, Kin Moy dives into guard. Kin Moy throwing a few bombs, Soukhamthath, able to reverse and put Moy on his back.
Rd 2 – Kin Moy swinging and missing with a couple high kicks. Soukhamthath only working the jab, he shoots and overpowers Moy to the ground. Soukhamthath not offering any offence on the ground. They stand, blocked flying knee attempt from Soukhamthath, though he manages to turn it into another takedown. Moy scrambles up and lands a couple nice shots, including a left that hurt. Moy looking for single leg. Now Soukhamthath looks for a single leg and gets it. Kin Moy reverses and takes Soukhamthath back. Nothing happens…
Rd 3 – Same start as the 2nd. Soukhamthath trying for a takedown against the cage, he manages to drag Kin Moy to the mat. Every takedown has been against the cage, or Kin Moy has been able to get to the cage. Kin Moy reverses and looking for a guillotine. Hes out but Kin Moy showing the better transitions and is now in side control. Kin Moy has mount, but doing minimal damage. Head and arm triangle attempt from Kin Moy, it looks tight…he lets go and postures up, Soukhamthath gives up his back

Rd 4 – Norby with a single leg to start the round, Sat against the cage, Soukhamthath continues to land elbows. Norby face is busted. Norby gets underhooks but still cant control Soukhamthath. Norby gets the takedown and into mount. He takes the back of Soukhamthath, this is so sloppy. He cant get the choke in.
Rd 5 – Immediate shot from Norby. Soukhamthath stops and reverses into side. He loses a crucifix, and now in half guard. Norby goes for a leg lock. Soukhamthath decides to spin out, they stand. Norby pumps his jab, his stance and posture have crumbled to his fatigued. SPEAKING OF CRUMBLING THAT’S JUST WHAT NORBY HAS DONE, AS SOUKHAMTHATH LANDS A FLYING KNEE, AND NORBY IS OUT COLD. There was no disguise on that knee, and a good fighter would of seen it coming.

JANUARY 2014 – VS KIN MOY

RESULT – LOST VIA UN DEC

Analysis
Rd 1 – Leg kick, Hands up, Upright stance.Another leg kick, gets Kin Moy down and into guard. Nice knee in the clinch, another timed leg kick gets Kin Moy down. Soukhamthath gets a takedown, and now into half guard. They stand, Soukhamthath takedown stopped. Kin Moy now looking for the takedown, stopped. Finally they’re back to the middle. AS not displaying any stand up skill. He again gets double unders and takes Kin Moy to the mat. Kin Moy back up and AS drags him back down. Soukhamthath not offering any offence on the ground. They stand Kin Moy lands another body kick. Soukhamthath continues to pepper with punches, nothing impressive, no lateral movement or angles. Commentators haven’t picked up on it but I think an overhand left from Kin Moy has rocked and dropped Soukhamthath, as he stumbles to the ground, Kin Moy dives into guard. Kin Moy throwing a few bombs, Soukhamthath, able to reverse and put Moy on his back.
Rd 2 – Kin Moy swinging and missing with a couple high kicks. Soukhamthath only working the jab, he shoots and overpowers Moy to the ground. Soukhamthath not offering any offence on the ground. They stand, blocked flying knee attempt from Soukhamthath, though he manages to turn it into another takedown. Moy scrambles up and lands a couple nice shots, including a left that hurt. Moy looking for single leg. Now Soukhamthath looks for a single leg and gets it. Kin Moy reverses and takes Soukhamthath back. Nothing happens…
Rd 3 – Same start as the 2nd. Soukhamthath trying for a takedown against the cage, he manages to drag Kin Moy to the mat. Every takedown has been against the cage, or Kin Moy has been able to get to the cage. Kin Moy reverses and looking for a guillotine. Hes out but Kin Moy showing the better transitions and is now in side control. Kin Moy has mount, but doing minimal damage. Head and arm triangle attempt from Kin Moy, it looks tight…he lets go and postures up, Soukhamthath gives up his back
